Oschad has received an award for the significant results of the inclusive program “My Accessibility” aimed at creating equal opportunities for all Ukrainians. The award ceremony took place yesterday in Kyiv at the final meeting of the Business Without Barriers community of leading companies.
This year, this is Oschadbank's third award for achievements in the field of inclusiveness. Earlier, the bank was ranked first in the Best Example of Implementing an Inclusive Approach nomination at UKRAINIAN CX EXCELLENCE 2024, an all-Ukrainian award for the best customer experience, and won the Inclusive Bank nomination at Banker Awards 2024.
“I believe that barrier-free accessibility is now a part of our bank's corporate culture. In addition, it is an important part of Oschadbank's strategic program until 2028. Last year's achievements in the development of inclusiveness include the adaptation of more than 700 branches to the state barrier-free standards, specialized training for employees “Inclusively Friendly”, rehabilitation and reintegration programs for veterans, and many information initiatives. It is because of this multidirectional approach that I consider the Business Without Barriers award, which I received today on behalf of the Oschad team, to be well deserved,” commented Sergii Naumov, Chairman of the Management Board of Oschadbank.
At the final meeting, the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska spoke and thanked the community's companies for the barrier-free initiatives implemented in 2024. In addition, at the event, Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Andriy Pyshnyi presented a new coin “Barrier-Free” as a dedication to everyone who makes efforts to build an inclusive environment.
“Business Without Barriers” is a community of companies that has united around the initiative of the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska “Without Barriers”. It currently includes 28 companies. Oschadbank has been a member of the community since its foundation in 2020.
