Oshchadbank and Lviv Regional Military Administration will jointly help Ukrainians solve their housing issue

Oschad and the Lviv Regional Military Administration (LRMA) signed a cooperation agreement to implement the Program of interest rate compensation for mortgage loans to certain categories of citizens in the Lviv region for 2024-2027 to reduce the cost of housing loans under the state program eHouse (eOselya) for Lviv residents and residents of the region.

The terms of the program provide for compensation of the interest rate of 3% per annum by the LRMA for certain categories of citizens who received loans from Oschad, namely

- contract servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;

- employees of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Foreign Intelligence Service, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service, the State Protection Department, the State Special Communications Service, the State Special Transport Service, the State Emergency Service;

- employees of the Judicial Protection Service;

- police officers and their family members.

The interest rate for war veterans and their families, combatants, persons with war-related disabilities, families of deceased war veterans, and for fallen defenders of Ukraine has been reduced to 4% per annum.

Thus, Oshchadbank and the Lviv Regional State Administration are introducing another mechanism that will significantly reduce the cost of purchasing housing for these categories of citizens.

It should be noted that Oschad is a leader among the partner banks of the eHouse program in the Lviv region. Since the start of the program, the bank has financed the purchase of housing for 162 families for a total amount of UAH 259 million, which is about 42% of such loans in the Lviv region. At the same time, every second loan was issued to customers belonging to the category of military personnel.

The bank already has agreements with the Zakarpattia Regional Military Administration, Chernivtsi Regional Military Administration, Odesa Regional Military Administration and Kryvyi Rih City Council. So far, Oschad has issued UAH 100 million of interest-free loans to customers in these regions as part of the cheaper borrowing programs.
