Oschadbank recognized for successful implementation of inclusive initiatives

Oschad News

Oschad took the first place in the nomination "Best Example of Implementing an Inclusive Approach" for the implementation of the inclusive program "My Accessibility" within the framework of UKRAINIAN CX EXCELLENCE 2024, an all-Ukrainian award for the best customer experience (CX). The rating aims to recognize the special achievements of companies in implementing the best CX practices and effective cases of customer-centered approaches. More than 300 companies competed for the championship in 15 nominations related to customer experience. The ceremony featured 93 cases from 55 Ukrainian and international businesses operating in Ukraine.

"During the great war, the implementation of inclusive initiatives became even more important. The goal of Oschadbank's My Accessibility program is to create an unhindered environment for all customer groups. In this program, we especially focus on the needs of people with disabilities and female and male veterans. It is the duty of society to remove obstacles that prevent all customer groups from receiving equal services, as well as hinder the adaptation, rehabilitation and self-realization of demobilized defenders of Ukraine," commented Sergii Naumov, Chairman of the Management Board of Oschadbank.

"My Accessibility" is a response to the challenges posed by the times. The program has three main components: physical accessibility of our network, a special service model and related training for employees, as well as improvements in IT services to make Oschad's services even more inclusive. We have made significant progress in each of these areas and therefore believe that this award is absolutely justified," said Anton Tiutiun, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Oschadbank.

Oschad has 25 super-inclusive branches of its own design (two of which, unfortunately, are located in the temporarily occupied territory) and is increasing the share of its network that fully meets the state requirements for inclusiveness. Currently, there are more than half of such institutions in Oschadbank. To ensure proper service to all customer groups, the bank implements an extensive internal training program called "Inclusively Friendly", which involves about 10 thousand employees. Improvement of IT services aims to develop barrier-free digital services that every client can access remotely from anywhere in the world. The latest significant achievement in this area is the introduction of digital onboarding, which allows customers to become Oschadbank clients and issue a digital card without visiting a branch.

Other areas of the "My Accessibility" program include participation in joint projects with partners for the physical rehabilitation of female and male veterans, including assistance to the Superhumans Center and the creation of a mobile rehabilitation module in Ovruch, Zhytomyr region. An important area of the bank's work is an information campaign to promote the best barrier-free practices. Thus, in March this year, Oschadbank held a large-scale conference on these issues. The bank is also a partner of the travel show “Vidval Nig” ("Leg Fall Off"), which is aimed at inspecting Ukrainian cities for barrier-free accessibility and is hosted by Oleksandr Teren, a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
