Oschadbank introduces financial leasing service for corporate clients

Yesterday in Warsaw, Oschadbank signed the first agreement on financial leasing to a Ukrainian company for the purchase of one piece of Liebherr material handling equipment worth more than EUR 5 million.
The trilateral agreement was signed by Oschadbank, the lessee company and Liebherr, the world's leading manufacturer of material handling equipment.
The project will help increase the throughput capacity of export and import transportation. This is extremely important for the country's economic potential, given the Russian aggressor's attempts to block or destroy the logistics arteries connecting Ukraine with the world.
"The full-scale war continues to change the financial services market. According to the NBU, the leasing market has fallen by 60% since February 2022. However, Oschad is introducing financial leasing services for corporate clients, as leasing is an opportunity to get new equipment for business development without collateral. Given that the loss of business assets in Ukraine from the war exceeds USD 11 billion, pledging property under a loan agreement is no longer an easy way to obtain financing. Therefore, we are developing other areas of support for our clients in resuming their business activities," said Yuriy Katsion, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Oschadbank in charge of corporate business, during the signing of the trilateral agreement.
Oschadbank will provide leasing services to corporate clients on individual terms for the purchase of agricultural machinery, loading and unloading equipment, and other industrial machinery. "For more than 70 years, we have been manufacturing and selling loading and unloading equipment around the world. Now we are especially pleased to send this facility to Ukraine, because it is not only business, but also our contribution to the export potential of Ukraine and to ensuring food security in the world," emphasized Roman Chopyk, Regional Sales Director of Liebherr-MCCtec Rostock GmbH.
