In 2024, Oschad remains the leader in car lending with a 50% share

Oschadbank retains its leading position in car lending with a market share of 50%. In January 2024, the bank provided Ukrainians with 269 car loans totaling more than UAH 221 million, which is 36% more than in January last year.

In 2023, more than 4,000 borrowers became car owners thanks to Oschadbank, and the total amount of car loans granted amounted to UAH 3.3 billion. Last year, Oschad's share in the car loan market amounted to 54%.

The top three regions in terms of loans disbursed: the Kyiv, Lviv and Odesa regions.

The most popular car brands among Oschad's customers: Toyota, Mazda and Hyundai.

It is worth noting that Oschadbank has special lending terms for these brands, but not exclusively for them. The total number of such partnership programs in Oschad is 15.

"The beginning of the new year was very successful for the car loan market - in total, Ukrainians purchased 543 new cars on credit, and it is pleasant that 50% of this market is with us again. We are actively developing this area of lending, cooperating with industry leaders, as we are well aware that mobility becomes even more important during the  full-scale war," said Anton Tyutyun, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Oschadbank.

Oschad cooperates with more than 500 dealerships and car dealerships across the country and offers flexible lending terms, including a fixed interest rate, which makes it possible to calculate all payments in advance. The maximum loan amount is UAH 10 million, the term is up to 7 years, and the down payment is from 20% of the car's value. Loans are provided for the purchase of new cars, including electric cars.
