Volodymyr Lavrenchuk became the Chairman of the renewed Supervisory Board of Oschadbank

The renewed Supervisory Board (SB) of Oschadbank has started its work. At its first meeting, it elected Volodymyr Lavrenchuk as the Chairman of the Board.

Mr.Lavrenchuk has 36 years of experience in the banking industry. Of these, 27 years were spent in the top management of the largest state-owned (Oschadbank) and foreign (Raiffeisen Bank Aval) banks. Under his leadership, the Ukrainian Bank Aval was transformed into a full-fledged member of the Austrian Raiffeisen banking family. Since 2020, he has been the Country Manager at NEQSOL Holding Ukraine office with a focus on investment activity and asset portfolio management and a member of the Supervisory Board of Vodafone Ukraine.

Chairmen of committees were also elected from among the members of the Supervisory Board, namely:

Elisabeth Nelson - Risk and Compliance Committee;

Juan Enrique Perez Calot - Audit Committee;

Volodymyr Lavrenchuk - Nomination and Remuneration Committee;

Oleksandr Rodnyansky - Strategy and Transformation Committee.

As a reminder, in consequence of the statutory review of the composition of independent members of the Supervisory Board of Oschad, four experienced financial market experts joined the Board, namely Michal Krupinski, Volodymyr Lavrenchuk, Elisabeth Nelson and Philip Heasley. Two additional members: Juan Enrique Perez Calot and Anton Piatygin retained their seats on the Supervisory Board from the previous term.

The Supervisory Board also includes three dependent members: Yulia Pashko (from the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada), Rosa Tapanova (from the Cabinet of Ministers), and Oleksandr Rodnyansky (from the President of Ukraine).

At this time, full of difficult challenges, the Supervisory Board and the Management Board should focus on maintaining the bank's operational stability and improving its efficiency. It is also important to provide credit support to businesses and individuals, as well as to work on recording and subsequent compensation for the losses caused by the aggressor to Oschadbank. These tasks are among the strategic ones that we’ll be working on first," said the newly elected Chairman of the Supervisory BoardVolodymyr Lavrenchuk.
