Oschadbank received two prestigious awards at the Ukrainian Fintech Awards 2025 ceremony, an annual event that brings together representatives of the Ukrainian financial sector. The victory in the Best Digital Banking Lending for SME nomination confirms Oschad's leadership in digital lending to small and medium-sized businesses. The Best Financial Inclusion Provider award was another recognition of the bank's systematic work in ensuring the availability of financial services for all customer groups.
The OschadBusiness digital lending platform, for which the bank received the first award, provided entrepreneurs with full online access to key banking services two years ago. Account opening, collateral valuation, insurance, and interaction with the bank for partners are all implemented in one digital environment without the need to visit a branch. Entrepreneurs can go through all the stages of loan processing, from application to disbursement, remotely.
Since the launch of the platform, more than 10,000 unique users have been interested in getting a loan online. As a result of reviewing the applications, 855 positive preliminary decisions were made in the amount of UAH 1.5 billion, and 453 loans were issued for more than UAH 758 million. Today, Oschadbank receives about 25% of all loan applications from MSMEs through this platform. This allows entrepreneurs to save time, get resources faster and avoid restrictions related to the bank's working hours.
The second award, which Oschadbank received for the highest level of financial inclusion in 2024, was made possible by a comprehensive approach to ensuring equal opportunities for all Ukrainians to access financial services. It is based on the inclusive program “My Accessibility”, which includes internal changes at Oschadbank, staff training, development of digital services for remote servicing, adaptation of infrastructure and a communication campaign promoting barrier-free access in Ukraine.
Oschad is the only state-owned bank with an extensive network and a systematic approach to inclusion. More than 60% of Oschadbank's network of 1,150 branches comply with state inclusivity standards, 23 of which are super-inclusive, created under a unique project. Oschadbank is the only bank to introduce mobile branches on wheels that serve customers in remote and frontline regions. The program pays special attention to supporting veterans, including their rehabilitation and return to active life.
