Oschadbank simplifies the process of authentication in the BANK ID system via Mobile Oschad

Oschadbank has introduced a new feature in Mobile Oschad that will greatly simplify the process of customer authentication in the BANK ID system of the National Bank of Ukraine. Thanks to this, users will be able to quickly, conveniently and securely confirm their identity when authorizing in the Diia app and other digital platforms. The new option makes it possible to authenticate without having to enter payment card details and wait for an OTP code.

“We are constantly working to improve our digital services to make the interaction of customers with Oschadbank as comfortable as possible. The introduction of a new authentication method via BANK ID is another step in expanding the capabilities of our application. In total, last year, Mobile Oschad received 23 new features. The process of pconstant improvements of the application will continue,” comments Anton Tiutiun, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Oschadbank.

The authentication process via Mobile Oschad is as follows:

• in the BANK ID system, the user sees a QR code to go to the bank's mobile application;
• the client can scan the QR code with the camera of his mobile device (when using a web browser) or follow the link by clicking on the QR code (when using a mobile browser);
• if Mobile Oschad is installed on the device, the user only confirms the transfer of the requested information to successfully complete the authentication;
• if the application is not installed, the customer will be redirected to Google Play or AppStore to download it.

The new functionality is already available to all Mobile Oschad users after the latest update of the application.
