Oschad issued the first youth loan under the state program eOselia

Oschadbank has issued the first loan in Ukraine under the state program of affordable mortgage lending eOselia for young people with a halved down payment, which is 10% instead of 20%. These are the new terms of the program aimed at making it easier for young people in Ukraine to purchase a home.

The borrower is a 23-year-old man, named Ihor, who runs his own business and provides programming services to Ukrainian and foreign companies. He purchased a one-bedroom apartment in the new residential complex “Lisovyi” in Chernihiv. Before that, the borrower lived with his parents and always dreamed of his own home. The dream became a reality thanks to the updated terms of eOselia for youth, as Ihor had enough money for the down payment.

In order to increase the supply of residential properties where you can buy real estate on eOselia terms, Oschadbank is actively expanding the geography of accredited new buildings. Currently, the bank has accredited 23 developers, 28 residential complexes and 53 new buildings to participate in the eOselia affordable mortgage program. Oschad's clients can buy housing in newly constructed buildings in Kyiv and the region, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kovel, Lutsk, Lviv and the region, Sumy, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi and Chernihiv.

Oschadbank has cooperation programs with eight regional military administrations to compensate part of the interest rate under the eOselia program for residents of these regions, including contract servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, police officers and other privileged categories.

Oschadbank has the first eOselya loan issued in general, the first such loan issued for an apartment in an unfinished construction project, the first loan for the purchase of a residential building, and the first joint program with regional authorities, which compensate part of the interest rate from their budget.

Since the beginning of 2024, almost 8,000 families have participated in the eOselia affordable loan program. They have received more than UAH 13.6 billion to buy apartments and houses. And over two years of the program, Ukrainians have received almost 14 thousand loans on favorable terms. Their volume exceeded UAH 23 billion.

Oschadbank maintains a strong leadership among the banks participating in the implementation of eOselia: its market share is 40% both in terms of the number and the total amount of loans. Since the start of the program, the bank has provided more than 5,600 preferential loans totaling about UAH 9.0 billion.
