Oschadbank and Corteva Agriscience offer farmers to take advantage of a preferential lending program for seed purchases

Oschadbank together with Corteva, Inc., a global pure-play agriculture company present to Ukrainian agricultural producers a partnership preferential lending program for the purchase sunflower, corn and OSR seeds of premium Pioneer® brand genetics.

The program is open to farmers who wish to purchase Pioneer® seeds for the amount of 200 thousand hryvnia. The interest rate on credit starts from 0.01% per annum in hryvnias and depends on the repayment schedule, credit term and availability of collateral. The maximum lending period is 12 months. To apply for participation, farmers should contact Corteva sales agent in their region.

There is no commission. Borrowers of this program will provide Oschadbank a simplified list of documents and can count on priority consideration of the application, as well as reduced time for decision on lending.

Oschad ranks first on the market in terms of the number of loans to the agro-industrial complex. To meet the needs of farmers, including the sowing campaign, in 2023 Oschadbank granted 1820 loans for a total amount of UAH 6.9 billion. Almost 30% of financed clients applied for the first time, because Oschad had no restrictions regarding the land bank and the form of ownership, and also liberalized internal credit processes.
