Oschadbank finances Dnipro City Council for the first time since the outbreak of the full-scale war

A new agreement to finance the development of the Dnipro city in the amount of UAH 300 million has been recently signed between Oschadbank and the Dnipro City Council. The funds will be used for thermal modernization of the housing stock. Thus, residents will save money on utilities, and the city will reduce energy consumption and increase energy independence.

The agreement was signed by Volodymyr Miller, Deputy Mayor of Dnipro, and Serhiy Hubanov, Head of Dnipro Regional Department of Oschadbank. The agreement is valid for 5 years.

"We have been financial partners of the Dnipro City Council since 2019. Before the full-scale invasion of the aggressor, the scope of Oschad's cooperation with Dnipro was quite significant. With our funding, the city council has implemented numerous projects for the construction, repair and reconstruction of social, public and sports infrastructure, water supply, lighting, energy and road infrastructure.

Now, in wartime, we are all even more ready to help the Dnipro community, which will allow the city to create comfortable conditions for its residents without diverting its resources from fulfilling its social function and financing the repulse of Russia's armed aggression," said Yuriy Katsion, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Oschadbank in charge of corporate business.

"We are interested in ensuring that the city has the resources to fulfill all its functions, to finance military expenditures, and to implement projects aimed at saving energy and creating comfortable living conditions for people, including internally displaced persons. Oschadbank is our long-standing reliable partner. By raising external funds for the needs of the community, we are pleased to continue our cooperation with the state-owned bank," said Volodymyr Miller, Deputy Mayor of Dnipro.

Oschadbank is a leader in financing municipalities in Ukraine. As of the beginning of 2024, its share in this market was 61%.
