Thanks to a newly received tranche from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Oschadbank has been able to provide additional loans to Ukrainian micro, small and medium-sized businesses (MSMEs) totaling EUR 50 million (equivalent) with reduced collateral requirements. The program covers up to 50% of the credit risk on new loans.

Loan terms:

  • maximum loan amount - up to EUR 5 million;
  • Intended use: working capital financing and investment projects;
  • loan term - from 12 to 66 months for fixed assets;
  • interest rate and commission fees are determined in accordance with the terms of the banking product under which the loan is granted.

The initiative, implemented under the EBRD's SME Competitiveness and Inclusion in the Eastern Partnership (EaP) program with support and funding from the European Union, can also provide cashback of up to 30%.

The following companies are eligible for cashback:

  • companies implementing energy independence programs (borrowing for the purchase of solar panels, gas-piston power plants);
  • companies that raise financing for the purchase of electric vehicles;
  • borrowers investing in other green initiatives and energy independence projects;
  • buyers of certain agricultural machinery;
  • enterprises that have been significantly affected by the war;
  • companies where more than 50% of the ownership is held by war veterans, where the vast majority of employees/customers are demobilized defenders of Ukraine, etc.

"Funding from our partner EBRD will help Oschadbank to increase the volume of credit support for Ukrainian companies and expand financing of business investment projects. We encourage our customers to take advantage of this unique offer. Participation in the program will help expand business activities and increase the energy independence of enterprises, which is very important for many Ukrainian companies now," said Natalia Butkova-Vitvitska, Member of the Management Board of Oschadbank responsible for MSME.
