Oschad has become a partner of the "CREATE!" grant program, which provides individual grants to women entrepreneurs in the production sector in the amount of up to USD 15 thousand. These funds can be spent on the purchase of equipment and partially (up to 30% of the grant amount) on software and training.
The program is open to women who are registered as individual entrepreneurs (IEs) in accordance with applicable law or who are co-owners of limited liability companies (LLCs) with a share of more than 50%. Funds are available to operating businesses that have been in operation for at least one year at the time of application. Entrepreneurs who have debts to the budget, operate in the temporarily occupied territories, or have a court decision on criminal prosecution for corruption, bankruptcy or termination of business activities will not be allowed to participate in the program.
Cooperation with international funds is a strategic goal of Oschadbank in accordance with the MSME development strategy approved by the Supervisory Board.
The "CREATE!" grant program was launched by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine. It is implemented by the KSE Foundation in partnership with Oschadbank. The total budget of the program is USD 1 million. Funds for the "CREATE!" grant program are an investment by WNISEF, which supports reform initiatives and transformation projects in Ukraine.
The program is an important element of the government's "Made in Ukraine" policy and the state strategy to ensure gender equality in the country. It is aimed at developing and scaling up national production and increasing the business activity of Ukrainian women.
Oschadbank is actively involved in the project. Today, it is the only partner bank whose mission is to open an account and conduct cash transactions using grant funds, verify the business reputation of grantees, and monitor the targeted use of funds.
"Mined fields and ruined greenhouses, burned warehouses and destroyed production facilities, looted small and large enterprises - all these challenges are faced by strong and indomitable Ukrainian women entrepreneurs every day. Through the new grant program "CREATE!" and other similar programs that Oschad has in its arsenal, we want to support our women who continue to work, develop their own businesses, and create jobs to restore the economy in wartime. I am confident that the "CREATE!" program will eventually turn into dozens of successful stories of Ukrainian businesswomen who will get a chance to ensure the economic stability of their families and the country as a whole," said Natalia Butkova-Vitvitska, Member of the Management Board of Oschadbank responsible for MSME.
Applications for participation in the "CREATE!" program can be submitted until July 31 at the link
