60% of the retail energy loan market, leadership in mortgage and car lending, development of digital services - results of Oschadbank's retail business in 2024

As of the beginning of 2025, Oschadbank's retail loan portfolio amounted to UAH 25.7 billion, which is 31% more than in the same period of 2024. During the year, the retail loan portfolio grew by over UAH 6.1 billion, continuing to increase its presence in the market.

2024 was a milestone year for the mortgage business of the retail business: for the first time, the volume of the relevant loan portfolio exceeded UAH 10 billion. Oschad expanded its lending terms, in particular, introduced a floating rate and the use of a housing certificate for destroyed property as an advance payment for new housing, and provided customers with the opportunity to purchase modular and frame residential buildings. 

The results of the state mortgage program eOselia are also noteworthy, overall with more than UAH 14.6 billion in loans issued in 2024, up 65% from 2023.

Oschadbank retained its leadership in this market, with a 40% share in terms of both number and amount of loans. In the primary market, the bank accredited 23 developers, 28 residential complexes and 55 construction projects. During the year, Oschad provided more than 3,000 preferential loans in excess of UAH 5 billionn and launched 8 regional programs to help clients receive interest rate compensation.

In 2024, Oschadbank retained its leadership in the car lending market with a 38% share. The bank issued more than 3.9 thousand loans worth almost UAH 3.6 billion, which is 10% more than in 2023. Toyota, Mazda, Hyundai and Skoda cars were the most popular last year.

A new area of retail business last year was the implementation of energy efficiency and energy independence programs. Oschad's market share in this area is currently 60%. Oschadbank actively supported the government's initiatives by issuing more than 700 loans worth more than UAH 235 million under the Energy Independence of Households program. In total, in 2024, more than 3,000 loans worth UAH 450 million were issued for energy generating equipment. At the same time, 90% of transactions are authorized automatically.

Oschadbank remains a leader among Ukrainian banks in terms of time deposits, which demonstrates high confidence in the bank's brand. The amount of funds on the accounts of individuals in Oschad increased by 11.6%, reaching UAH 210 billion. In particular, term deposits grew by 6.6% to almost UAH 90 billion, and demand deposits by 15.6% to UAH 120.7 billion, respectively.

Online banking is becoming one of the main channels of customer interaction with the bank. Currently, 4.6 million customers have Mobile Oschad on their gadgets. They make more than 800 thousand visits and financial transactions totaling UAH 1.4 billion every day. The number of transactions in 2024 increased by 15%, the amount increased by 23%. In May 2024, remote identification was introduced, which makes it possible to become an Oschad client and open a card without visiting a branch. The app allows opening specialized accounts that are part of government support services, including National Cashback and Winter eSupport.

Oschadbank continues to hold a stable leadership position in the acquiring market, ranking second with a share of 16.2%. In 2024, more than 1.1 billion transactions totaling almost UAH 324 billion were processed under merchant acquiring, which means an increase in volume by 11.3% and in the number of transactions by 13%.

Oschadbank's network of payment terminals grew to 80,014 units, including 33% increase in the number of OschadPAY terminals and 31% increase in the number of partner terminals in 2024.

The Contact Center is one of the key channels of communication with customers. In 2024, it received more than one million requests per month, including 23% of chatbot requests. At the same time, 75% of requests were processed automatically. These figures are due to the work of Sophia's intelligent assistant, which replaces the work of 500 operators, and the automation of services (28 self-service services are available over the phone, and 48 services are available in the chatbot).

Oschadbank has been named the best premium bank in Ukraine by the international rating agency Euromoney for the third year in a row. The number of premium customers increased by 64%, and new exclusive services were introduced for them, including investment services and programs to support Ukrainian art. Currently, premium customers have access to 86 premium locations, 2 of which will be opened in 2024, and a flagship premium center.

Oschad retained its leadership in terms of the number of operating branches. About 1,150 Oschadbank outlets continue to serve Ukrainians even in the most difficult conditions. We are especially proud of our mobile branches - unique branches on wheels that operate in places where other banks do not operate. Five such branches operate in Donetsk, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson and Chernihiv regions. In the first quarter of this year, we plan to double the number of Oschad's mobile units. They have everything you need to provide financial services as in a regular branch. There you can open current accounts, make deposits, reissue payment cards, make money transfers, receive social benefits and other financial services. It is a real symbol of hope for people in the most remote parts of the country.
